SELECT an Injection Pump
Function: Allows the user to input his application requirements and the application will return a list of applicable pump sizes for the parameters entered.
The sizing questionnaire asks the following essential questions:
• Area to be treated
• Amount and type of liquid product to apply
• Time needed for the application
• Pressure in the pipeline.
The units of measure are available in both Metric and Imperial and can be used interchangeably. Example. You can enter the Amount of Product to Apply in Gallons per Hectare. APPLY yourself does the conversions for you.
Based on the parameters entered, the app will return a ranked list of the top three pumps that it recommends. This pump can then be added to a “My Pumps” list in the app for easy choosing in the Calibration portion of the app.
This portion of the app is beneficial for growers determining which pump they might want to purchase. It is also very helpful for resellers and dealers to assist growers in choosing the correct pump for their operation.
CALIBRATE an Injection Pump
Function: Allows the user to choose an Agri-Inject pump and enter the appropriate application data to assist in the calibration process for that particular pump.
The first screen allows you to choose a pump to calibrate. You can use the complete list of pumps or use the “My Pumps” list which would be any pumps you have shortlisted.
Once you have chosen a pump, the app moves to the Calibrate screen.
On this screen, you enter the following parameters:
• Area to be treated
• Amount of product to apply
• Time needed for the application
The units of measure are available in Metric and Imperial and can be used interchangeably.
Once this data is entered, press the Calculate Calibration button. The application will calculate the Rate to be applied (in Gallons/Hour), the Setting of the adjustment knob on the pump (1-100%), and the amount of liquid to calibrate the pump to (in milliliters per minute).
If this data is acceptable, you can press the Go To Timer button, which navigates to the Timer screen.
This screen displays the relevant information for calibration of the pump: Pump Size, Injection Rate, Knob Setting and Calibration amount (in milliliters per minute, per 30 seconds and per 15 seconds).
It also features a stopwatch function which can be simply and easily set to the appropriate amount of time to allow the user to accurately time the calibration process
